About Little Glebe Cottage

The Glebe House is a large relaxed family home set in a secluded location on the outskirts of Winfrith Newburgh. In 2012 we decided to share our beautiful site and location with visitors by building a private, self contained annex – Little Glebe – at the end of the property. We designed it to a standard that we would wish to find ourselves on holiday, so expect to find all the modern conveniences as well as a lovely setting with lingering views over the surrounding countryside.

Winfrith Newburgh is just two miles from Lulworth Cove on the stunning World Heritage Jurassic coastline and South West coast path. It is nine miles from the county town of Dorchester and 18 miles from the more bustling conurbations of Poole and Bournemouth. There is a friendly local post office/village store and three pubs nearby.

Our family run a successful 800 acre sheep and arable farm in Wool, just two miles down the road, but we are content with the company of just four sheep, three hens and an elderly Jack Russell.

Because of having our own animals, we are unable to accept dogs in Little Glebe.

Wi-Fi connectivity is available, and most mobile phones get a good signal.
